Irmo's Jaiden Bryant Commits to Miami: SC's #1 Recruit Off the Board

Jaiden Bryant, the top-ranked high school football recruit in South Carolina for the Class of 2027, has committed to the Miami Hurricanes. Bryant, a 6-foot-3, 245-pound edge rusher from Irmo High School in Columbia, is rated 98 by 247Sports and ranked #19 nationally. He chose Miami over a stacked offer list that included Clemson, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, and Ohio State. "It felt like home from the jump," Bryant said of his decision. "The coaching staff, the development plan, the culture — everything lined up." Bryant is the crown jewel of South Carolina's 2027 class. His combination of size, speed, and pass-rushing ability makes him one of the most sought-after defenders in the country. As a junior, he racked up double-digit sacks and was a disruptive force in the backfield on every snap. His commitment gives Miami a major foothold in the Palmetto State, a recruiting hotbed that has produced elite talent year after year. For Irmo, Bryant's decision caps off a dominant high school career that has put the program on the national map.
